Vending Machines and their snack containers are items that can be found throughout the F.E.A.R. series. The red machines are Fizzy Kola. The cans in these machines are red, and are an obvious play on popular sodas such as Coca-Cola or Dr Pepper. Green vending machines sell a drink called Diet Squish. The name is based on Crush, a popular soft drink. The vending machine serves little purpose in game, as they cannot be interacted with, they are mainly for decoration and obstacle.
These machines are commonly seen throughout Armacham Technology Corporation Headquarters, in F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin they are common in public area of subway system, or in some part of the Auburn Memorial Hospital. Some vending machines are still seen in Best Save Co. or in Port Authority Airport in F.E.A.R. 3, however in Fairport itself such machine is not as common as in previous games for some reason.
