Here is my reasoning for creating the page Replica Special Forces even though they are considered to be Replica Desert Soldiers.

Who started this page? There's no such thing as Replica Special Forces; I've looked at the SDK myself and several others have also seen it and there's no such unit. The one shown in the picture are Replica Deserts in night vision goggles. These goggles can be applied to Replica Recon as well; it's like an addon. As for them being super smart and turning off the lights, that is a scripted event and will happen all the time.IceRevenant 01:13, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
I don't know what to call so that seemed the most appropriate them but there are not Desert Replica they look nothing alike and if you want to start the fight its desert replica wearing night vision goggles then I can say having speartate replicas pages makes no sense because they are wearing different equipment but the same solider.--Bull36 01:36, 12 May 2009 (UTC)

Personally, it's not in the SDK so it's something that you "yourself" thought to be a special unit whereas the majority of us don't even notice this. As for why there are separate Replica pages; it's in the SDK. Replica Recon, Tactical, Urban, Sniper, Desert, Elite, etc. these were all clearly listed in the official SDK released by the developers. So why don't we also name the Replica Recons with night goggles a special unit as well? And what about Replica Fatique with night goggles (that only appear in the bonus missions in Persues Mandate) as a separate unit. And let's not forget about the Replica Urbans with the Fatique style red goggles that only appeared in Mission 3 of the original FEAR. Just to be consistent...
