Wearing a two-tone grey heavily armored suit with a metallic faceplate with six distinctive yellow "eyes," the Replica Elites (Variant VII) are the strongest of the standard Variant VII Replica soldier in F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin.
Monolith Timeline[]
F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin[]

These Replicas start appearing in the subway level and carry assault rifles, in addition to having the highest health and armor of all 5 types of standard Variant VII Replicas. Surprisingly, they are absent in the last level of the game. Their face masks have multiple yellow eye dots (six on the face and two near the ears) and they're almost as bulky as the Replica Heavy Armors. They can take up to 3 point blank automatic shotgun blasts or normally half to a full magazine from an assault rifle to kill. The Elites are the main opponents in Interval 06, after the player reach Still Island, they are replaced by normal Replica Soldiers.
F.E.A.R. 2: Reborn[]
They appear once again in F.E.A.R. 2: Reborn, but much more scarce; only four are encountered near the end of the game. They are fought alongside standard Replicas, Snipers, and even the Replica REV6 Powered Armor. They are sightly more difficult to fight since most of the level is tightly confined, giving less room to maneuver through their well aimed fire.
F.E.A.R. Online[]
The Replica Elites appear alongside the Unmasked Replicas in the campaign mission, Tunnel.
Strategy[]
- Replica Elites are highly dangerous foes, especially on Hard difficulty. Not only they are durable, their combat effectiveness is on par with ATC Black Ops Elite Soldier and Ghost Soldier in Reborn. Slow-Mo is the player's only mean to counter one or multiple Elites.
- Use of high tier weapons such as the Hammerhead is highly effective on Elites. It will take just a single slug to the head to kill one while they are unaware of the player, if they are alerted; it takes about 7 slugs to kill one. The KM50 Sniper rifle is excellent at dispatching Replica Elites from a distance; unsurprisingly a single headshot from the .50 cal round rifle fires will always result a kill.
- Likewise, like the Replica Heavy Trooper, the Elites are surprisingly quite vulnerable to fire such as Incendiary Grenades and the Balzer LM10 Napalm Cannon. The stun-locking effect and the damage-over-time means that by the time the Elite extinguishes the fire, he will be weakened for a coup-de-grace. A Napalm Cannon-Shotgun strategy is one of the most cost-effective way to save on ammo.
- If the player has trouble with a group of Replica Elites, try to fight one at a time.
Demo[]
- They are significantly weakened in the demo, as the demo was designed to act as an introduction to the game.
Interesting fact: Their masks are similar to the Anime (Masked) version of Misaka Worst just as the standard Variant VII Replica soldiers have goggles similar to the normal Misaka clone sisters:

And like the Misaka Worst they are clones and are more or less networked telepathically (although unlike Misaka Worst there are more than one of them)
