The drainage canal is seen in the first Interval of the game. The second F.E.A.R. team are air-dropped into the city of Fairport above the drainage canal, and fight the Replica forces patrolling there.
The drainage canal is vast, with many ducts and basins. It also has several giant rooms with maintenance equipment and machines. The least used parts of the canal also appear to house, or used to house, homeless people, as many dirty mattresses and makeshift homes are set up.
The drain also has extensive above ground facilities, and is connected to the Sewers via a gate.
