The Dark Horse comic book is a comic that was packaged along with a "Director's Edition" DVD version of F.E.A.R. First Encounter Assault Recon. The comic is made by Dark Horse, and acts as a prequel to the events of F.E.A.R. itself. In the comic, Alma Wade approaches Paxton Fettel and triggers a second Synchronicity Event by merging her mind with his, causing Paxton to go rogue and begin killing everyone in the building.
